A Meditating Brewer's Blackbird. A Male Brewer's Blackbird to be exact. Males of this species exhibit iridescent greens and purples in their feathers and are quite a delight to see. This bird is meditating on the quickly approaching Fall Season; what will it hold? What will change? What will remain the same? These are questions many of us have right now. This is piece is my reminder to us all, to re-center and meditate so that we don't spiral thinking of what lies ahead. Let us anticipate and not be anxious.
